Anderson on Solskjaer

Former Manchester United player Anderson believes that Manchester United should give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer some time in order to change the team. He said that the manager has inherited a team that was assembled by Jose Mourinho and that it will take some time for him to mold the team at his image.

Anderson said that Manchester United has some good players on paper but they need to learn how to play as a team. He believes that there is some good potential in the team and that it will be up to the manager to find ways to get the best out of the current team.

Anderson believes that there will be a lot of movement during the transfer window as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will want to get rid of some players that have been under performing this season. Anderson said that one such player is Alexis Sanchez as he has failed to replicate the sort of form that allowed him to earn a move to Manchester United.

Anderson said that fans should give Solskjaer the support as well as the time needed. He said that it is never easy to come into a team and change the philosophy of a team. He said that there has been signed during the season that the team is improving but they need to become more consistent.

Anderson said that the board should also give the new manager the fund needed to change the team if they want to win trophies. He said that teams such as Liverpool and Manchester City are ahead of them in terms of development and that they will have to work hard and invest massively if they want to challenge for trophies in the future. He believes that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is the right man for the job and will help the team win trophies.
